Those Texas highways lead to creative thinking for me. I have planned out so many projects and paintings while riding across West Texas. Then again washing dishes often has the same effect on me ... just doesn't seem as magical.

I agree, a long drive or a long walk/jog and my brain switches to the "create" mode. And you are right about the dishes, I wonder if it is those mindless things that free up part of our brains to wander and imagine?
